4. Browser local storage
When you accept or decline optional cookies, we record your choice in your browser\'s local storage (the key bfa_cookie_consent_v1). That stops the banner reappearing every time you visit. The key remains until you clear browser data or use the "decline" button on this page.
5. Optional analytics
If you accept, we set one anonymised analytics cookie to understand which pages are read most and how people move between field-notes posts. We don\'t sell data. We don\'t identify individuals. If you decline, this cookie isn\'t set.
